Little bit more info here -

Being a vodafone customer will apparently get you entry to a 'special area'.

Any ideas whats happening? I dont want to make the effort, if he's just going to cruise down Deansgate just the once.

If you don't mind walking a bit, the Boddingtons car park is probably a good place - £3 all day, just opposite the MEN Arena.

Agreed, I park here for work and never had a problem, touch wood. Will be parking here for Sunday

Edit to add: I am sure its £1 or £2 on a Sunday

If he's at Deansgate on Monday he'd better not hang around getting back from Spa on Sunday afternoon!

Anyone else going to Spa tomorrow?

I was there, despite the cold wet and damp conditions it was a chance to see/hear a F1 car up close.

I thought it was rather good. MP4-12C sounded nice and the F1 car was of course awesome.

Weather was on and off rain, but the noise (and extra laps) more than made up for it

I was totally underwhelmed by the sound if it - there was no sound !!

The F1 car sounds so great - shame he couldn't get much traction due to the wet surface and cold Tyres.

Was a bit subdued on first run round, but thought it sounded good on downshift and on acceleration on the last run, may have been down to where we were and the echo of the buildings
