...well the good news is it is now back and there is another event on that I'm organising again.

As we have always done, teams that entered previous get first choice, we had four teams of four people from Pistonheads last time :-)

So please post up as soon as you can to confirm your interest, see post 2 for details :-)

Been a while since we had one of these, but they are a very popular event :-) 76 people drove at the last one - spectators welcome.

So who's up for it again?

Venue:
Three Sisters Race Circuit
Three Sisters Road
Ashton-in-Makerfield
Wigan
Lancashire
WN4 8DD

Format:
2 hour Endurance Race - 30 mins of timed practice/qualifying followed by a 2hr full on race in twin-engined (2x160cc) 70mph Pro Karts. Helmets and overalls are provided or you can bring your own.
Minimum of 8 teams (4 people per team), maximum of 20 teams.
The current lap record for anybody using these karts around the track is a 49.2.

Date:
TBC - looking like Wednesday or Thursday evening in mid Sept.
Get there for 5.30pm ready for 6pm briefing.

PRICING:
Current price would be £190 per team of 4 before discount.

This will come down though, but we need the numbers to help push is down, I already have a lot of people. (Aiming for just over £40 per head)

Payment:
I need non-refundable deposits of £15 as soon as possible and the full balance payable no later than 10th September 2011.

Hi, I'm just waiting for the track to confirm the date and the discount level I'm asking them for :-)

To avoid it slipping into October, how does a Friday evening sound in Sept sound?

Most people seem to prefer a Friday so far :-)

Confirmed as Friday 16 th September.

Price has been negotiated to a level we are happy with - £160 per team of 4, so £40 each.

If you do not have a team but want to do it, please post up, I think last time we got two full teams from doing it this way :-)

If you could confirm placse asap as the Three Sisters have just phoned and said max capcity is reduced to 15 teams so this will hit capacity...the least we've had before is 17.

I've not been in a kart in about 10 years. I won an event there once, although now im carrying a hell of a weight penalty.
