Looking For Disused Airfield or similar

Does anyone know of a disused airfield or similar in the north of England. Were planning a TopGear style challenge weekend where we have a small amount of money to go buy a car and complete a series of challenges. Were looking for somewhere to have a bit of harmless fun. Were all over 30 so not just a bunch of hooligans. Looking for somewhere to do it safely.

Any ideas?

Prees Heath Airfield just south of Whitchurch have a rally school based there. I've hired the runway in the past to do noise tests on bits of kit, that was 10+years ago though. Might be worth a call, let us know how you get on btw!
