Park anywhere near the airport at your peril. When you see some of the housing to the east of the airport (Hale?) you'll know what I mean.

Just pay.

"Give us £2 mate, and we'll look after your car while you're away"

"no, it's ok, the dog will do that"

"oh, it puts out fires does it?"

I'd use one of the private airport parking firms. I've used one of them for Liverpool before but can't remember who. Anyway, they don't usually charge the earth and your car will still have four wheels when you pick it up.

Got an industrial estate in Widnes if it helps.

Hale village is actually very nice, a few footballers have/had homes there.

I think you are getting confused with Speke, which really does need carpet bombing.

You might be able to park in the Asda in Hunts Cross, massive car park and I dont think from memory they are patrolled by clampers or private car park ticketers. I could be wrong though. Speke retail park is patrolled so thats a no go. Ill have a think and get back to you

Yeah Hale Village is crazy, you walk 100 metres and then suddenly it turns into the Speke estate, which is slightly different from the houses by the lighthouse!

Agreed, and all the airports seem to be in rough areas. Don't park in Speke.

The council is wise to this so all the free spaces that you would be happy with will be a cab ride away.

Book in advance online with the airport and you can get some pretty good rates for a weekend. Car park on site, secure and only a short walk to the terminal

If some youths tell you they will look after you car for say a couple of quid a day just give them the money. Hopefully then they won't actually do anything to your car. Or recruit the toughest looking blokes you can find and pay them to guard your car.

Pay it as it will cost you far more than that if just the badges are nicked. If your car is stolen off the street just ask yourself how much it will cost you to get home and thats before you loose your NCB etc etc
