Need to do my CBT but I have no idea where to go to do it. I've done a search on the web but there seem to be hundreds of places reasonably local to me that offer bike training.

So, anyone done their CBT/bike licence in Manchester recently or know somewhere good, preferably in south Manchester?

I've done mine twice at MSM Belle Vue and no I didn't fail them, I just let them expire after 2 yrs.

I'm planning on doing mine again week after next, it's £129 if you use their bike or £110 iirc if you use your own.

I did my full licence at MSM, who were good.

For my CBT, I did it through the BMF in Royton. They provided the bike. The BMF CBT is run by volunteers, hence why it was cheaper, but they only ran it on weekends. Used to be based at St Anne's school but I think it has moved. Trainers were very friendly.

Bryans Motorcycle Training school based at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent is one of the most respected training centres in the country with a very high pass rate and reputation. They have excellent quality equipment and bikes and operate 7 days per week. Their contact number is 01782 595000

BTW they operate an Enhanced Rider Scheme run in conjunction with Craig Jones, the stunt rider, to help develop a rider's road skills both on & off the road which is proving very popular for a £39 session of two hours.

Lad at work used MSM this year too, and rated them very highly. He seems to be a pretty competent rider too so I have to hope they had something to do with that. smile

Thanks for the replies. I've heard adverts for MSM on the radio funnily enough, so I'll probably use them.
