www.cpop.co.uk . I've been invited to the press day tomorrow (photos & video to come) but the biggest news at the moment is that 4 times WRC champion Juha Kankkunen will be starring at the show.

Does this happen annually?
I enjoyed the Liverpool Pageant of Power last year but it was a shame it was free as the crowds were huge and didn't really see that much.
If it does happen annually are most of the events viewable?

This year will be the fourth running of the annual event and it's only going to get bigger. One of this year's attractions is a dedicated rally stage, along with the unveiling of 2 brand new, British cars! For more information, see www.cpop.co.uk

If you've not been before, then I'd reccomend the full weekend as there's sooo much to do and see.

Lets hope the weather gets better and better - I have been to each one (on the Marcos stand) and they have not been blessed with the best weather. A couple of years ago the Dancing Diggers (JCB display team) did a re-enactment of The Somme after a particularly biblical deluge !!

One downside this year is people displaying cars on the club stands have to pay as much as the discounted PH price, and they want you there at 8am and all day. I am not sure if that will reduce the number of club stands. I am not very compatible with arriving at 8am, and I am sure my neighbours are thankful. But this is a great show - all PHers will find loads to see, and hear, and smell ! Just remember that the discount ticket offer closes soonish - I think it is end of June, don't miss the offer !

CHOLMONDELEY PAGEANT is soon here again for the 3rd year running and I've managed to secure a better show pitch this year for our Nobles.

Also if you've seen the M600 will be doing power runs up the track over the weekend making it extra special for us.

So hopeing the sun will play its part this looks like being a super event now running over 3 days.

"Local Bus Services

If you are travelling by public transport consider travelling to Whitchurch Railway Station and then take the Helms Of Eastham Route 41 service to Hampton Heath Crossroads.

This bus service can also be used from Chester.

Cholmondeley Castle Gardens from Hampton Heath Crossroad is then less than 3 miles away by foot.

The Bus Station in Whitchurch is a 3 minute walk away from the Railway Station."

Cheers Mr jbudgie. I had looked last year but it just went T*ts up!
I shall do my best to take Wee Man along, we had hoped to be going with someone, but that's another situation that went more than just t*ts up, sadly. It looks a great place, maybe see how he does at school. ;-)

Yes this was not recevied well by our members that now this is a pay and show event.
without the car clubs the event will have half its prestage over night with less for the public to look at.
Tatton park shows are better run and free to people who show, without them the show ground would be empty.

Hi Max I have emailed you.
I am hoping to be able to go on one of the days. Possibly the Saturday. I was wanting to go the whole weekend but it's not possible for me now.
