What is it with timing?

Three of my friends are going through REALLY rough patches after this weekend (breakups, family deaths, that kind of thing), and so the one time I'm actually needed, I'm off to Norway for 4 days for work. What the hell is up with that?

Sorry, I just felt I had to vent my frustration somewhere, I feel like I'm abandoning them all which isn't the case at all. I hope they don't feel that's the case :\

Your friends (hopefully) will understand, you have a job to do like us all and explain that as soon as your back (its only 4 days not 6 months) you will devote a bit more time to them.

Nothing wrong with a bit of a vent - gets things off your chest!

It does yes, I feel fine now just didn't have anybody to rant at here in the office since one of the people concerned is sat opposite me

I guess I'm going to the pub 3 times when I get back, that's the weekend sorted

There's only one true way to vent frustration Dan. We both know it involves a big gun and several innocent civilians. Right Jim?

Agreed, unfortunately they don't let you take guns on the plane

No, sadly not, I believe that it's because Samuel L Jackson had enough of all the motherfking snakes on the motherfking plane...

Plus of course they'd have to go into quarantine for 6 months unless it was an internal flight...
