As above i'm staying down here next week and normally just go and find a pub, can anyone recommend a decent Italian that hopefully wont break the bank.

Thanks chaps.

Take your pick we have a few, none that are any thing to shout about though, there's ASK, Zizi, Pizza Express, Pizza hut (border line Italian themed) and Prezzo. Can't really recomend any all just generic chain pizza places. If you want a cracking meal though I would highly recomend http://www.google.co.uk/m/local?oe=UTF-8&clien... this tapas restraunt had a few excellent meals there and very reasonably priced.

If you don't mind going a few miles out of Chichester, there's an Italian restaurant called Nicolino's in Emsworth.

Try The Pizza & Pasta Pub (thats its name) on the road out from Chicheter to The Witterings, has an Italian chef and is very popular, may need to book at weekends. http://www.yell.com/b/The+Pizza+Pasta+Pub-Pubs-Chi...

Enjoy

Well i tried here on Saturday, service was excellent and the food first rate, i'm a fussy swine at the best of times but the food really was good and a lovely cosy pub as well.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Cheers.

I have passed that a few times and noticed it had changed owners (mainly cos the knackered old Rangie that had been sitting in the car park for at least the last 8 years had gone) and thought about trying it. Shall definitely give it a go now smile

On another note, O Sole Mio in Cowplain is also very good. Small Italian restaurant, family owned by the looks of it.

There used to be a really good one in Port Solent aswell called Olivo. That seemed to close down and has now re-opened as Olivo II or something, but I think it's different management as the funny little Italian guy doesn't seem to be there so I dunno if it's any good.
