I seem to recall we stopped by one (or it at least had a lot of them!) on a Bournemouth hoon a long time ago, but I can't recall where it was; anyone know?
If not, are there any decent dealer/specialists around here?

TIA! thumbup

Not enamoured of MXParts. There is a real need for someone good down here. I'm desperately trying to get my mate to relocate from Telford where he used to run Maztek.

For some reason he's having trouble convincing his GF.....

Are you in the market for one? Or have you bought one on the quiet..?

I did very nearly buy one on the quiet, but my current insurer managed to get in the way of that, so I'll have to wait a few months! frown

Can you remember the place we stopped at Lee?
It was after we became separated on that meet and randomly met as you and Zed pulled in for fuel.
I can't for the life of me think where it was....!

So if not MX-5 part, where?

There is one near there who my mate has used for his MX5 and they were quite cheap and very thorough. I've asked him what the name was.

You go through Droxford, turn left at the Brock Bridge crossroads and it's on a farm up that way.

I don't think so, I'm sure it was an indy... I've emailed Simon (the chap that came in the red Mk 1, because he bought his from that place, but no response yet)

Hi Luke, coincentally and not in answer to your original question, but we ordered a '59 plate MX-5 for my older daughter (the Air Traffic hopefull) only yesterday from Magna, Canford Cliifs. My younger daughter ordered a '59 Mazda 3 sport whilst we were there. Expensive day for Dad.

Anyone want to buy a nice Saxo VTR??

Awesome bunch of guys...Enthusiasts that know 5's inside out...I've had them sort out a major issue I had with the car. 10/10 for a place to have the car worked on.

Week by week I think of cars I want next, but I think an MX-5 may actually be the car! thumbup

Off topic, how is she getting on?

You mentioned these guys before. But the confusing thing is that the advert only positions them as a parts shop and a supplier of cars.

Defo workshop too? And do they deal with FI cars?

This MX5 thing is catching!

I can't think of any MX5 specialists in the Bournemouth area, not that I've seen. Maybe I don't frequent the 'right' parts of the town wink

Well!

I had my water pump let go on the run down to Wilton House - Had Autolink fix that & a whole host of other issues as per that link smile

Worth it though..There rates are VERY reasonable.

Definitely a workshop too...They've had my car in there twice, once for a period of an hour. The other for a week. I actually can't praise them enough.

Regarding FI...Speak to Julian, he's there workshop man & did all the work on my car so he'll be able to tell you exactly what they can handle FI-wise.

I owe him a pint actually because the car is running perfect as a result.

Good to hear she's fixed! thumbup

Just trying to work out what I want to buy now!
A guy at work showed me his import Mk1, a VR limited special edition. I'd ideally like one of those... scratchchin

thumbup Sounds good! VR's are fairly rare!

The fact that you're getting one is great though...It's quite literally a dream car for me keeping in mind how many miles I do just to & from work & then on the weekends too.

You can't go wrong thumbup Did you have a poke around mine yet?

I've had a brief look.
The chap at work said he'll go and look at them with me if I want (he knows an awful lot about them!) so just need to find some that I'm interested in, which having looked isn't that difficult! wink
