Brother in law's wedding in September down in sunny Brighton.

As I'm oop north we are making a weekend of it along with the rest of the outlaws (10/12 in total).

We are looking at hotels but they seem to be quite expensive but I'm also thinking of a house/large apartment for all of us.

Anyone know of any self catering places/websites to use or maybe you have a house for rent or know of someone with a house for rent. Needs to be pretty central and have 5 bedrooms. We all don't want to sleep in the same room!

Cheers

Although local I don't know of anywhere personally, but I did a quick Google & found the following:

Your main issue will be parking, assuming you are driving down, as anywhere central will be a nightmare unless the apartment comes with a permit or it's own space. If you pick somewhere & want some advice nearer the time on the free places to park nearest to town centre or anything, give me a shout smile

The Holiday Inn Brighton throws up a £49pppn deal, but I dont know your dates. There are several other 'cheapy'/Holiday Inn/Best Western type hotels around if you cant find a large house for the weekend.

What date in September? The Brighton Speed Trials are on the 2nd Saturday, so some petrolheadidness (made up word) to be had if you are down that weekend wink

If dates work, come say hello to the 'cuddly' bloke in the yellow Cerbera running the Speed Trials driving

Baron Smead.

The Thistle had some deals on last time I checked, nice and central.
