Local Ride Drive Course

Any of you local PH'ers done a performance course with Ride Drive?

My other half is kindly paying for one for my Birthday and although initially I was going to do a track based development program but couldn't as my car is a little, ahem, noisy (only just), I decided to go for the Ride Drive option as I thought it makes sense to learn safe driving in my own car on the public road. I'm going for the one day with an hours airfield time. The instructor is based in Totton.

I did one a number of years ago. I did the 8hr course split into two 4hr sessions.

It was really good fun and enjoyable.

I'm thinking about sorting out a refresher course sometime this year

did that course with that instructor last august 25% insurance discount gained too pm for info

I did a half day Ride Drive about 4 years ago. The insturctors teach you to read the road properly and position your car for fast road driving, which sometimes feels at odds to what you are taught on track.

Thanks for the replies guys. Had a call from the local instructor tonight, he sounds really pleasant, looking forward to it now, somewhen aorund the 22nd June.
