Mods feel free to remove, but just came across a blue chim in a hedge/trees at the back end of Waterlooville, just off the roundabout from the A3. Posting as a heads up in case anybody might know who it is and want to check if they are ok. Police were there and other services attending.

Hope you are ok frown

There was a blue one driving round southsea today. I wonder if it is the same one? It was a light blue one with a triple headlight conversion.

No, mate. Wouldn't have put it up anyway frown It was a dark blue one. It was a good 6 ft up in the tree. Looks like it lost it coming off the A3, went across the grass in the middle and launched itself into the tree line. Couldn't see any other cars damaged.

Sad to hear, but unfortunately that's just the latest in a long line of similar crashes on the same short section of dual carriageway linking 2 roundabouts. People must be giving it too much welly coming off the roundabouts, as I've seen numerous cars in the trees & bushes on both sides of the road over the past few years.

Agreed. Once you lose it there's nowt to stop you going into the other carriageway...

A guy called Rich and his OH had to be cut free. A friend of mine who is a fireman attended and helped cut them out.
Hope they are ok.

(I have pictures of the car which I won't post, but if the owner wants them, I will e-mail them)

And finally... "6ft up a tree"?? I've told you a million times, don't exaggerate!

Admittedly it was difficult to tell going past at 30, but as I could see the underside of the car I'd say it wasn't that far off wouldn't you? Considering my side of the highway is 3ft above that side too? Anyway, its irrelevant as it certainly wasn't on the ground either way, I'm happy to be wrong - hope they're ok.

I have the pictures but I'm not prepared to post them unless a) I know that the driver is ok and going to make a full recovery and b) he gives permission for the pics to be posted.

Even my 306 gets a bit squirrelly coming round that bend in the damp.
