Just an idea but who is up for going go-karting as a group get together sometime before christmas? Someone mentioned it recently and i thought it was a good idea.

I did it in Eastliegh not that long ago and it was a really good laugh. I think it was about £35.

If you interested or have any ideas on a date or another location post away!! Most place would require between 8-10 people.

Count me in. I'll buy a trophy and get it pre-engraved with my name. Looking forward.
I was at thruxton a few weeks ago. The track looks great. Or indoor at Gosport is quite good.

I'd be up for it, if dates are suitable. Eastleigh is OK, but it would be nicer to have an outdoor track.

As above, I'd love to but it would have to be a weekend for me sadly.

When I lapped you! Average laptime was 0.72 sec quicker. But then you did have two on board, you, plus that stomach! wink Any news on that car?

Awesome - Sounds like we could get a good group together.

I will contact a couple of places then and see how much it will be and how many they can cater for.

Would everyone prefer a weekend as opposed to an weekday evening session. If so Sat or Sun??. I will see if i can find a date then that fits for everyone.

Updates to come soon. . . . . . . .

Good shout Jim. I'm defo game. Me and Luke have done Andover and Eastleigh quite a few times- Andover is a bit better and they turn more of a blind eye to underhand tactics (of course I would not do such a thing!). Been wanting to do Thruxton for ages. Weekends are preferable but evenings can be done.

Have just had a look on the Thruxton website and from what i can see it is gonna be about £80 for a weekend meet. Thats max 15 people in tow groups. Each group does an 8 minute practice, then two 8 lap heats per group and then each group does a final heat of 10 laps (i assume the final heat is the best from each group and the worst).

That is on the outdoor track which is 1100m long. Its is quite expensive. Thoughts??
