I'm driving to Portsmouth tomorrow from Bournemouth; I heard today that Pompey are playing Spurs tomorrow, so I just wondered how this effect traffic in the centre? I've got to get to the train station where the boat comes in for about 12:00.

Kick off is at 1330 so the main roads in will be quite busy when you head into the city centre. You're better off heading down the M275 and going round by Unicorn Gate, then depending on which station you need, left at lights down Unicorn Road or down Queen Street. Most of the fans will tend to use the other roads in especially the Eastern Road as the ground is that side of the city. But leave a bit extra time to allow for morons, sorry, fans!

Yes it was; I got there about 11:15 as I knew the traffic would be heavy for the football. Didn't have any problems at all, but I was glad I did go early as the inbound traffic was queing the length of the M275 on my way out!!
