Looks like the championship could be close again this year, as well as some of the class battles being separated by hundredths of a second. Should mean that some people will be really trying on this the last round of the championship. May be worth a look.

It certainly was worth a look. Now I'd like to see some pictures or videos of it, have you seen any posted up anywhere Steve?

Yep was good meeting wasn’t it, nice to have a completely dry one at last and think we both ended up with a good result. You took the class win by a larger margin than me though, 0.06 is a bit tight. Not seen any pics yet, Simon was wandering about in the paddock so assume he will be loading the usual set onto Maximage. Maybe someone on here took some there certainly seemed to be lots of cameras around the ashes area.

What I want to know is where did you suddenly find all that extra time from, did you find something in the Tweaks catalogue I have not seen, perhaps a “go 2 seconds quicker” aerosol ?

If I knew that I'd bottle it and start selling it!

Seriously though, I'd done the 64ft quicker in June, I matched my highest speed through Hollow which I did in June, my quickest Intermediate was in June, my previous best K-A was 11.25 in June but this time I managed a 10.91, I matched my highest speed across the finish line which I did in April.

So the big difference was K-A and I think I achieved this by keeping off the rumble strips and getting a better line/carrying more speed through ashes. I think that adjusting my clutch pedal has improved my gearchanging so that I don't mess up the 2nd to 3rd change out of Ashes and that finally enabled me to join all my best times together to get a 39.47.

Anyway, must dash, I've got to go and polish a trophy wink
