Hi all.
Yesterday i was travelling down the Eastern Road and i noticed up ahead blue lights flashing. when i got to the car it was an old black s reg volvo...
It had all the blue lights in the rear window. There was a normal car parked infront of it. In the Volvo sat a guy with a white shirt....
Just thought it was strange. do the police still use the old cars?

Eastern Road - Portsmouth arterial route.
Hants used to run unmarked Volvo S60 - I had a friendly chat with the driver of a black one once, think it was a 52 plate. Also had a burgundy and (i think) dark green one.
Haven't seen anything other than Octavias for a while though, and would be surprised if they're operating a 10 yr old car.
Could be a personal car of a doctor or fire chief? Or could the OP have misread the plate - SA52ABC could have been mistaken for S452ABC?
