Reliable garage in Soton

I need a bit of work doing on a Mk.6 Escort (need the cambelt, tensioner and idlers changed as well as the water pump while they're at it) but, being fairly new to the area, I don't have a clue which garages are any good and which are to be avoided. Does anybody have any recomendations? Preferably not too far outside the city limits please, since obviously the job will take a few hours and I don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with sod all to do

Sounds perfect, I only live a mile away so will drop in later in the week when I get a chance
