What on earth happened...

...to the traffic in Southampton this morning?

I know the M27 is usually stuffed in the morning rush hour, but the entire city seemed to be gridlocked, every road I was on going across town had some form of queue or jam, with idiots blocking junctions and muppets clogging up roundabouts. It's normally pretty free flowing by 9am.

Yeah was quiet here (Bournemouth) this morning as plenty of people couldn't make it from Southampton way.
The guy held by the Rozzer under the mental health act apparently tried to jump, hence both directions of the M27 were shut.
