Just been for a superb open top hoon up ZZH and other roads in the area. Very few cars and those that were there made for superbly pleasurable overtaking.

Days like this were invented to just drive and drive and drive with no other reason than pure fun and pleasure!!

That sounds like so much more fun than working... what a stonking day for hoon clear blue skies nice dense cold air to give you that slight performance edge!!
Last time I was out that way it was dark wet, still cracking on quite well then just as i came over the brow of the final hill I see tail lights approaching me at a rapid rate (if you know what i mean!) 18-22mph round the bends, the weather couldn't ruin the drive but 2 old dears in a seat could!
Still glad you enjoyed it!!

You mean you live in bournemouth and you've never been out to play up there?
Get up there you'll love it... my main problem is choosing which route to take to get there and back... so many choices wink

I moved down here for work and was tied up with that until a few months back, so never had the chance to.
I went nearly all the way up a few months back, but didn't realise I was practically at one end of it!
Will have to do it when i have a free weekend.
Meet perhaps? driving

Did it yesterday with the Bolocs, absolutely teffifying. Icy dark road, new tires lead to a hairy side ways moment.

Won't be rushing back.

The higher road from Blandford to Shaftesbury is closed from today i believe! I got through ok this morning but alot of the 'road closed' signs were going up, roadworks for approx 10 weeks I think but have no idea if the road will be closed for that long! bit bemused by it really as it was only last year they resurfaced it all! rolleyes
