Audi Specialist near Ringwood

Hi all

A friend of mine has got a 3.5 year old RS6 that needs a cambelt change and the stealer wants over £2k to do it.

As it is out of waranty, anyone know of a good specialist near Ringwood/Bournemouth/Southampton?

A colleague of mine has a business card above his desk for a VAG specialist nearby (to Bournemouth), if you don't get a response over the weekend, I can have a word with him on monday and post it here if you like
He has a 55 reg A6, so I'm sure they're used to the newer VAG stuff!

You could consider "Independent Car Sales and Servicing" at Chandlers Ford http://www.independentvwservicing.co.uk/ . I was happy with the service they did on my A4 TDi. They are cheaper than the main dealer.

There is also "Abtech AVSS Ltd" near Totton http://www.abtechavssltd.com/  - I haven't used them though.

Also near Chandlers Ford is "Monks Auto Mechanical Services" http://sitebuilder.yell.com/sb/Displaycompany.do?p=homepage&id=SB0002518182000110  - their hourly rate is low, and I was happy with the work they did in fixing a problem with a Seat Ibiza but their premises aren't exactly 'clinical'.

I can recommend ABTech in totton, I have used them for a couple of services and an MOT and they have been very good with my A4.
