Anyone else seen Sus Pol driving dark green Volvo estates?? I saw 3 drive past me today with little flat removeable light bars on - obvously on their way to a job. All the officers were in civvies and wearing Sussex Police Baseball caps.

I dunno for sure but I am pretty certain that they were unmarked TFU officers

The 3 green umarked Volvos were seen driving throught the Goring Road in Worthing about 1230hrs today. I was quite surprised to see 3 umarked police cars all virtually the same colour.

Really couldn't say in that case. Never seen them before around Brighton/Hove. Wouldn't like to speculate which department they are from. I'm quite sure they wouldn't pull you over, they don't sound like RPU cars, which have fixed, concealed blue lights.

I saw these with their lights on just outside Pompy yesterday, then saw them about 4 hours later near my house in Wimborne Dorset!!

That sounds very plausible, but Sussex use Mondeos and Passats in that role AFAIK

Deffo not driver training as officers ALWAYS have to be in uniform - even if the car is unmarked. Source- a mate in the Met told me it is part of the home office exemption during driver training.
