I have to admit though that after over 15 years of following this event on the main Saturday stages, this year I am going to finally call it quits.

The event pricing this year is simply ridiculous for an event of this stature... £48 for a full day pass?? B0llocks to them. The National Trust (who own most of the stages and whose prices are responsible for these costs) are on the verge of killing a very profitable money spinner if you ask me.

Anyway I will be down in the Gardens on Friday night to watch it for free.

Hi John - nice to meet you on Sunday and your mate Chris (is he on PH?).

Where are the gardens?

If you are going down the A338 (Spur Road to Bournemouth), please be aware that there is a contraflow (Southbound) being put into place for resurfacing works, and it is absolute CHAOS at the moment!

So make sure you leave plenty of time for the traffic jam rolleyes

Hi Graham,
As already stated will be in the lower Bournemouth Gardens in the centre of Bournemouth hopefully somewhere after 6pm before it all starts. The cars run through the gardens from between 18:30pm - 21:30pm. I will hopefully be pitched up sitting on the wall down near the bandstand somewhere, as it's warmer to sit than stand for three hours.

Give me a ring if you want to meet up - you have pm

Cheers
John
