Brighton Speed Trials

Just a quick reminder it's the Brighton Speed Trials on Saturday the 9th of September.

I'll be there in my Vitesse - Car number 35, so feel free to come and say hello.

Timed runs start at 10am, and my class should be finished by midday - though keeping to the scheduled programme times is not the norm for the BHMC bless 'em!

I joined the BHMC earlier this year and was told then that the Brighton Speed Trials were already over subscribed, how did you manage to get in?

Wayne, I applied as soon as the invites went out in May?

Mind you I'm only entered in the Handicap event, and I believe some of the more serious classes get full pretty much straight away.

It would be great to see an Ultima there!

As it happens Dan, it isn't the end of the world for this year as the Ultima is still not on the road yet but mark my words, I WILL be there in it next year and I will be looking for 10's. If I can get there this year I will seek you out and say hello but if not, good luck and have a good day.

Unfortunately I've broken the back axle on the Vitesse so I will be racing a silver Fiat X1/9 instead. Still car number 35.
