Hi,

I've got a few bits and pieces to do bodywork-wise on the MX-5, so I'm looking for a body shop in (or close to) Brighton who will do a decent job at a sensible price. Any recommendations?

I know of one just outside Worthing at Northfarm, when I popped in for a look around they were refurbing and respraying a Murcielago, as well as a few other exotics.

If your interested I get you the number!

Gleam Clean in worthing are pretty good in the body shop department from personal experience? They did the body preperation including preping, painting and finishing my brother's race car, and did a good job straightening out the fron of my car after i lost a discussion with the rear end of a rover. Had an F430 in having work done while i was there too. Price, i dunno, i've not tried anywhere else to compare, i was happy tho, seemed like good value.

There's (what appears to be) a good bodyshop in Brighton right by the Greyhound Stadium. Last time I stuck my nose in (a good 18 months ago) they had a variety of top of the range Mercs, BMWs, an Aston, a Ferrari and a Range Rover (amongst others). Its right behind the Quick Fit place on Old Shoreham Rd.

The place you are refering to is called Portslade Panel Works and are an approved Porsche and Mercedes repair centre.I have had work done there and it is of an extremely high standard.Ask to speak with Paul or John Chambers.

Can only recommend Vye's in Boundary Road Hove/Station Road Portslade/Carlton Terrace (it's an odd road OK). Always honest advice and excellent work.
