Another post Christmas run?

As some of you may remember we had a run out after Christmas last year and got a great turnout. Unfortunately, quite a few people got lost - something we will try to avoid this year!!

So, at the moment, just trying to gauge interest and possible dates. Last year we had a clash with the TVRCC run - from the looks of things they have a Christmas holiday run but I can't find a date, so what about the Thursday the 29th or Friday the 30th of December?

Hi Tony,

Cheers - that means we'll be seperate this year and hopefully some of the TVRCC boys will be able to do both!

What about Saturday 31st in the morning? That's New Years Eve - seems a few people are working towards the end of the week so wouldn't be able to do the original dates.

P.S. Did I see you at the Goodwood sprint at the end of August?

Would like to do the run but will probably not have a car on the road at the time.
Bloody annoying baecuase I still do a regular Morestead road drive.

There was a big bad crash on the main straight at the crossroads the other day.

Speed camera was further up the road at the very start of the 40 limit though.

Im probably gonna have to be camera man for the day and I reckon we should stop at lots of pubs!

Krusty, stop confusing things - the run is on New Years Eve, Boxing Day is something else entirely!!

We'll suss out a route, maybe a bit longer than last year and will stop at a pub.

Only the mobile speed trap that I got caught in whilst in the Golf (typical it would be my slowest car!). Its in the 40 zone just after the sign so brake extra early. I was slowing to 40 but had already past the sign so he booked me.
I didnt argue, no point. Did have a go with his Laser speed trap gun though. So fast that I dont see how any device will ever get round them.

Oh, yeah - I forgot about that! I think we'll go a bit steadier this year to keep the group together.
