Can anyone suggest somewhere around Itchenor/Birdham/West Wittering that would be able to feed a number of hungry PHers breakfast on a Sunday morning from about 08:30?

Bosham Inn mate. They were very hospitable when a load of us went over recently. They have changed manager since but the new guy seems pretty good - he may open up early.
