Lots of meets.

Just think of a good route and a pub for a decent meeting place (think of the carpark/food/friendliness of landlord/pole dancers) and then drum up some interest in the forums.

If you can also get the weather arranged for all the hairdressers who drive Griff's.

The Bosham Inn was a good venue. Big car park and a friendly owner. The only bad point is that Adam may want us to take his 'Rural' route again...

This was one of the last local meets www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=139214&f=65&h=0 - good route and a few pubs on the way round too.

That was one of the best yet!
Just the right amount of cars to enjoy a good blast and a good varied bunch of cars too.

If there is another like this I'll be up for it.
Route needs to be similar though. Need to try my favorite road again

Aye - always up for a meet and a pint

Arranging one for the 2nd July funnily enough - bit of a mixed car one, but it should be good fun

Surprisingly it was dished out for 'Acceleration Massive' - driving into Arnage on the Friday afternoon

Highly entertaining - managed to get onto Le Mans radio too!!!!

So - I know it's a long way away, but 2nd July 12.00 noon in Sandbanks carpark(next to the beach) Little trip down the coast, then finish off on the beach at Bournemouth.

If there's much interest, I'll put it onto the main board!

Interesting idea ... though I.'m not sure about the beach part. How about a run to Bolderwood in the New Forest?

Whiteley/Wickham/Meon Valley is a great driving area and lots of decent pubs.

There's even an old Roman road with a mile long straight on it between Wickham and the top of Portsdown Hill that's great fun.

I know all this because I live there - so if we meet up close to where I am you can all have a look around my workshop - currently occupied by an Aston Martin DB6, two Maseratis, a Lotus 7 (real one) and a few others...

Mike.

There's a nice roundabout as well though and some of the lanes round there are fantastic! That's where I conduct passenger rides from work

pah, roundabout, bloody Elise drivers, moan grumble moan moan moan.

and yeah, lots of country roads are excellent around there, especially the Hampshire Ring!

Took the new toy for a shake down (still some of it left!) over the hill the other day and cleaned up some of the grass banks!

Id be up for another PH meet.
Not too many cars though or the drive is worse than driving to work. Unless of course we have a short drive to a pub and then do our own thing from there, like the first PH little Chef/SevenStars meet.
