Day on the south coast.
Discussion
Any ideas on what to do for the day this Friday?
Will be dropping the car off for a service at Crondall, will have a courtesy car and need to keep myself and my ten year old son amused for the day.
Have done Portsmouth, Beaulieu etc to death in previous years.
Have been looking on the map and googling a few places, Bognor and Littlehampton et al look dull.
Somewhere to go in the morning, decent place for lunch, somewhere to visit in the afternoon, then collect the car and back up to Derbyshire in the evening.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Arundel castle is not a bad way to spend a few hours not sure how close it is to where you are going or what the restaurants are like though.
If you are looking for an excellent lunch and are Portsmouth /Southampton way then the Kams Palace just off the M27 (J9) at Fareham West is possibly the best Dim Sum this side of China town, well worth a visit on its own IMHO.
