Hello South-Coasters, bit of an odd request...

Any ideas for what I can do for a day out with a 19 year old young man from Portugal (family friend) this Sunday or Monday? Not too spendy, of course...

For example, I thought of Beaulieu, but he's not really into cars, might be ok if they have an event on?

Or IOW, maybe take the hovercraft, but what do we do there? Turn round and come back?

Any local events on?

Any ideas welcome, what have you got down there?

Cheers, Dean!

if the weather is nice, what is nicer than hiring some mountain bikes and going for a ride and picnic in the new forest. Or you could do something like Go Ape, that is always a good laugh.

I'm away and the cat could probably do with feeding at some point? If that doesn't fill the time, lawnmowers in the garage, go wild smile

I was going to suggest Go Ape when I read your post too! If not, I hear there's something happening at victoria country park, but not sure what. Friends of mine said they were heading there tomorrow for the day, might be worth a gander.

Thanks, hiring bikes might work, maybe I should plot a course to the Master Builder and an afternoon's education about English beer!

I'm competing in this on Sunday; http://www.newmiltongrandprix.co.uk/

I did it in Ringwood last year and it was a good laugh with lots of street bbq's and beer! (for those not in the carts).....
