Looking at having the interior trim of my new C63 AMG carbon wrapped and wondered if anyone can recommend the above company or an alternative?

Monster have always been very good with our clubs vehicle, and lots have used them. Nice friendly service too

Not a wrap. But there is a company on the south coast somewhere that did the work in the Range Rover on a recent edition of Wheeler Dealers. Looked like a very good solution but permanent!

They paint the trim then dip it through a carbon look screen which leaves a carbon effect pattern.

Try a google/youtube.

Thanks, I've found the company you suggest :

Looks good, but they would need me to remove the trim which I wouldn't be too keen on. They also want photos of the parts to give me a quote - tricky as the car hasn't arrived yet but I guess I could pop by a dealer and take some pics...

It will be interesting to see how their quote compares to a wrap, thanks for the recommendation too Lou.

The removal of trim in higher end cars is actually quite easy. Because they use good quality fixings they are so much easier to work with. Very few screw fixings and most bits of trim pop off & on. With some care and a little research it is easily a DIY job. I put Brushed Ali wrap on the trim of my SL500. I even did the wrapping myself.

You're braver than me! This is the first brand new car I've ever had (and a very nice one!) so I'm not too keen to try DIY on it just yet...

I'm waiting for Monster Wraps to come back with a quote and will try and get a quote from the dipping place too as a comparison. If anyone has had quotes from both sources I'd be very interested

I've never used them but I like their Facebook page and see a lot of nice stuff coming out of there.

Likewise, Customised Graphics in Waterlooville put some fantastic work out!!

I've used monster wraps and they are very good at what they do. Prices are very reasonable and the service is great

Half my car has been done by these guys including my wheels. Great service.

Some people hate the fake carbon, but I think it just makes some of the interior plastic bits that bit smarter. The front splitter is there for scrapes etc and not functional so rather than spends loads on carbon, I had mine made of acrylic for £30 and had them dipped. Have a spare set in the garage smile

Mgbond - Can I ask what size your plates are? and are they legal? I ask because I'd love to fit similar.

The font on the rear is legal but I'm not sure on the rest, I cut off the unwanted extra bits as my plate is one character less than std. Also I have a Space between the M and the 6. It's supposed to be M G Bond.

You can find the info on the web for the clearances etc.

I've had these plates (front is smaller) and have never been pulled.

Thanks for all the replies - Martin, it is really hard to see how realistic the carbon dip looks in the photos, is it a convincing copy close up? Ironically, the whole reason I wanted to wrap the interior of the C63 was because I assumed it would be plain silver as most are (it is a lease car and I haven't been able to select the options) but it turns out it has a piano black interior upgrade so I probably won't bother with carbon now! I am interested for my other cars though...

All I can say is people have commented thinking my wheels are carbon.

It is good but u can tell its fake just like I can with a wrap?
