Hi Just wondered if anybody has any recommendations for exhaust system builders in the area ideally around Portsmouth/Southampton

Would Torque Technique near Salisbury be too far?

What is it for? I know a couple of places that offer completely different solutions. Powerflow over at Totton have proved very good for 'normal' car solutions. Or I know a guy who does bespoke stuff for Turbo installs in Titanium etc.

Heard back from Torque Technique and they want £1000 and need the car for two days so there out. Still waiting to hear from the others.

The Exhaust for the Noble was £1500 and some are over 2k, why is £1k out I would have thought that's not bad as it runs from front to back and the Noble is a lot smaller exhaust.

That is assuming you are talking full system or is that Cat back?

Thats just cat back and its as much the two days as the cost would mean sorting out lifts twice etc

Ok this is looking more expensive than I was expecting just heard back from Powerflow in totton and they want just over £1800 and need the car for two days again
Any other suggestions please.

I'm afraid you're either going to have to re-think your budget or compromise your solution. What is it you actually need? All you have said so far, is that you want a cat back exhaust for a S/C Jag V8. I'm guessing a standard Jag system wont fit the bill? I'm guessing by the prices you are being quoted that you are asking for a bespoke solution?

I know it's not that near but try Longlife on Redhill (mike the pipes old place).
there excellent quallity and always a fair price.
