Goodwood - Worthing Convoy

Hi all,

As usual - is anyone up for a convoy, meeting at durrington tesco? Would be a good idea to get to goodwood early too, given the theme?

Yeah, might well be up for this, are we aiming for the public carpark? Only it might be easier and more fun, to approach Goodwood from the North? (after last months issues!).... Sort of A27 to Fontwell, then Eartham, A285, Goodwood Racecourse, then down to the circuit?

Possibly up for this depending if my car has been accepted or not. If not then I should be fine to meet up. Agree re Eartham route, always use this for Goodwood events and is usually much quicker.

I'll be going through the back roads this time to keep the speed down with my "new" box of sunshine. So I'll find you guys at Goodwood.
5th gear + 70mph = 4000rpm. It's not very fun at that speed

Absolutely no idea, haven't thought that far ahead yet! but I'm happy to do early, what sort of time are you thinking? Do gates open at 8, or even earlier?

I'm at 75% goodwood 25% PH atm due to distance. What time you guys thinking of meeting?

IMHO I think a 07.45 estimated time of arrival wouldn't be far off the mark... So, say 07.15 departure sharp?

Do you mean, A24, Washington, A283, Storrington, B2139 (Amberley), A29 Fontwell, then up via Eartham, Goodwood Racecourse etc?.... Sounds like a lovely run for a Sunday Morning....

That'll be half my route. I'll be happy enough to meet up with you guys somewhere around Washington/Storrington..
