I was wondering if anyone knows of an Alloy refurb company they can recommend in the Southampton area?

I own a B8 S4 and slightly kerbed 2 of my alloys in the snow in the Malvern Hills last weekend.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

If you are after a full refurb (wheels off job) I'd vote for Solent Wheels in Ampfield, Romsey. Small set up but high quality. Took the car down on Monday pm, collected Friday pm. Good value too.....

I think I used this company some 25 years ago, refurbished a set of Volvo wheels for me, actually repaired and then polished the aluminum wheel and looked like chrome. Can this be the same company?
Result, just found pictures of the wheels in my archive.

http://solentwheels.com/

just do it!

Matthew is an utter star. a better craftsman may exist, but I have yet to find him.
guy is superb. quality service and has some nice cars to look at in the workshop.
pics of my Monaro wheels he did for me, on the website there too. tyres he gets are are top value and fitted with skill and care, like I have dreamed of for ages.

Thanks all, Solent wheels it is as they are very close to me.
Sadly my beloved 'ro has to go in the near future, few jobs to do first so the new owner just has to drive and enjoy!

Following the recommendations on here I recently contacted both The Wheel Specialist and Solent Wheels to get quotes for a refurb of all four wheels on my 'new' car.

Impressions of both were very good and Solent were best for price (£300 vs £400) but take a week to do the work and were fully booked until mid-May whilst The Wheel Specialist do a same-day service and had had a cancellation for the following day so could fit me in straight away.

I decided to go with The Wheel Specialist and am chuffed to bits with the results. The wheels look like brand new (albeit with a slightly darker finish than standard, at my request) and their customer service was top notch.

I was offered a lift home by the owner after dropping my car off the night before the work was being done and all interactions with various staff throughout the process were friendly and professional.

Would happily recommend these guys to anyone.
