Things to do in Dorset to make me glad I moved there

As I'm moving near Poole, I would like to treat the gf and myself to a fun summer doing lots of "this is a great place" things.
Any suggestions? We raped the leaflet rack at the Premier Inn in Poole when we did a recon run on the area and we already love the New Forest.
New Forest rules: I live and work here. Definitely get the bikes out and have a ride round the forest, stopping off at all the best pubs! Best way to spend a day. Nothing better than a cold cider and ploughmans after a bike ride on a hot summers day. Any suggestions? There are various kayak hire places locally. Lymington Yacht Haven, Beaulieu River or a few places in Poole do it. Hire one for the day, take a packed lunch and spend the perfect day on the water. Maybe take a fishing rod (not in Beaulieu river though). Or if you’re feeling flash, hire a boat out for the day.
Come and visit my showroom and buy a boat/kayak, or at least drool over them. Check out Beaulieu Motor Garage, or head into the Beaulieu Motor Museum.
As you can tell, I hate winter. Can’t wait for the summer to arrive!!! Hate being stuck indoors.

Dan you will be doing none of that as you will have your new toy by then and walking, riding, boating and flying will take a back seat to driving it roof and radio off. There are various kayak hire places locally. Ahhhh I'm all excited again!
I will DEFINITELY come and say hello at the boat shop. I will also make sure I lock the gf in the van, she "wants a boat". I mean, no mind that she can just about reliably point to a stretch of water and my nautical prowess extends to having read all of Forester and O'Brian... That couldn't possibly end badly...
I've not been to Beaulieu and Sammy Miller for years, they are definitely on the list.

Try the Red shoot pub - new forest.
Ferrari dealer in Lyndhurst .. well worth letching over.
Red Shoot is lovely, as is High Corner Inn, my regular destinations when on a bike ride.Ferrari dealer in Lyndhurst .. well worth letching over.
If you're in Lymington, forget going to the quay for lunch, head towards Boldre and go to the Red Lion Inn for proper New Forest produce and fine ales. Check out their pudding night for proper new forest fayre.

What are your interests?
Cycling New Forest is good and fairly flat, head towards Shaftesbury if you want some hills, Mountain biking, New Forest not the best as you are only allowed on the waymarked tracks, never had any trouble going off those though. Trail in Moors Valley is good fun. Head over the Purbecks for some tough terrain but amazing views
Poole Quay Tuesday evening if you are into Bikes
Classic cars on the seafront in Bournemouth Sundays
