I've never been to one before... do you just turn up, or is it something you have to book?

I'm thinking of Sushi Sunday.

Been heading down for about 3/4 years now. Ill be heading from Fareham Sunday morning.

With breakfast clubs you just turn up the marshals will direct you where you need to park. If you fit the theme they'll park you on the track or in the paddock. And if you don't they'll park you in the car park or if its quite in the paddock.

It's all free and there are numerous places to actually get breakfast. You hear the odd person moan about cost of breakfast a baguette with sausage bacon and egg with tea is around £7 if I remember correctly but what people need to remember is that it's free to get it and that its all organic goodwood produce even the milk for your tea. And how many other burger vans sell earl grey wink

Sunday is going to be dry and cold with a bitter East wind. Goodwood airfield is very, very open and exposed, my advice is; wear a hat, a big coat and lots of layers.

It's been dry all week and no rain is forecast.
Superb driving conditions I reckon.
My plan is: Gleaming car, roof down, hat on, heater full blast,and.....
Hoon it, Howl it, Hack it, Whack it, Whizz it.
What's more, I'm going to:
Floor it, Thrash it, Push it and generally enjoy myself.

That's just on the way there, while the roads are quiet.
I'll have a mooch around with Bro-in-Law, topping up on coffee & cholesterol (The finest kind!).

A sedate drive home mid-morning, collecting The Sunday paper en route and a lazy afternoon with tea and chocolate digestives.

It's a fine way to spend a Sunday.

I'm thinking if I remove the tax disc from my car I can get on the grid with the civic tongue out or I just wait the month for sushi Sunday but that got me thinking technically its a British car as it was built in Swindon????

Ye Gods man, what a perfect description - many a BC meeting has followed a similar format for me! You go to bed on Sunday night with an enourmous sense of well-being, don't you?

The only difference for me is that I either partake of the cholesterol part either at Goodwood, or more usually at a 'bikers' breakfast cafe on the A272 on the way home. That way I get to look at a load more petrolhead goodness, albeit with fewer wheels.

It's what Sundays were invented for, surely?! biggrin

Some lovely cars there, I stayed away from GBC as I froze at Bealieu last weekend.
That gorgeous DB6, I remember towing that back to Hayling a good many years ago, does Mick Stennimg still own it or has it changed hands to anyone's knowledge?
