Its that Time of year again - The North Hants Camra bods are running their annual beer festival in Overton (despite the fact they said last year would be the last) - Details are below and just in case anyone wants to know, we are going to the Friday night session so maybe a mini Pistonheads meet and greet could be on the cards for those interested.

Don't hang around in getting your tickets as it always sells out fast

Friday 29th & Saturday 30th October 2004
Hampshire Downs Beer Festival 2004

Over 30 Real Ales plus cider. Food, CAMRA shop and tombola (in aid of H.A.R.T.) at each session. Entertainment Saturday evening (from Gary Miles).

Venue: St Luke's Village Hall, Winchester Street, Overton, nr Basingstoke, Hampshire. Centre of village, 5 minutes from Overton Railway Station. Buses from Basingstoke and Andover.

Opening times: Friday 6-11pm; Saturday 11am-3pm & 6-11pm.

Ticket Pricing: Tickets (includes free souvenir glass) £3.50 Friday & Saturday evening, £2.50 Saturday lunch. £1 of free beer per session to CAMRA members.

Never mind, I am sure there will always be next year.

Hope the wedding goes ok - how was the trip to France with the Surrey mob, we were supposed to be going but due to loads of other stuff we didnt make it in the end.

Funny how 2 Andover TVR's seem to end up in Surrey - saying that though, we will be making more effort to do Hampshire stuff next year!
