Trying to decide what GP to attend this year, I've done Silverstone, Spa and Monza before. Unfortunately i think Monaco is out because of work but what about Germany and Hungary? Has anyone been to either of them and if so what were your experiences / opinions on the tracks and places themselves? It would obviously be nice to include some good roads on the way down too.

TIA

Andy.

We're thinking of doing Germany this year; was planning it over Christmas with my Brother. Just need to convince the OH it's a good idea now!

Waht about Abu Dhabi in November. I did it in 2011 and it was brilliant. You can get cheapish flights that time of year circa £450 and there are more hotels there than you would believe. I bet you could find a decent deal.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I've been to the Abu Dhabi Viceroy hotel and been around the circuit which was amazing. I was lucky enough to visit when my Ship was in Dubai for a 2 week stand down period. (i'm in the Navy). Unfortunately i deploy again in August until March this year so i'll miss the UAE GP. Unless of course we get lucky and visit Abu Dhabi again! smile

Therefore I've decided it has to be one of the European GP's as they're earlier in the year and i can also include a nice road trip on the way. I think if i do a long haul GP it will be Singapore or Austin now, they both look incredible!
