Not a fan of the saloons for some reason? they just seem slightly out of proportion. Coupe or estate for me. There are 4 on the SC section now that I can think of off the top of my head. There must be something about them.

They are really nice to drive (gearbox maybe a tad dull) and the power is fantastic. The sound from those pipes is also a lovely addition to the ownership experience. Ive looked at and test driven maybe a dozen over the past 3 years but still cannot make up my mind.

On another note, have you tried the Merc forum? lol

The one you linked to looks well priced for a good spec early car.

Had my '11 plate C63 estate with PPP a week and very pleased with it so far. If anything though I would like it to sound more aggressive as it doesn't sound any much different to my previous BMW X5 4.8is, I would love it to be something more like this;

I agree with comment on the saloon though, much prefer the looks of the estate or coupe. When looking for mine I found the estate seems to hold its value a little better as it ages too.

I absolutely love mine - for many reasons.

They have a simple, honest and analogue feel about them - nothing is configurable, you just get in and go.

They have a lovely heavy feel - the type you only get with a massive engine in a relatively small car.

Its brilliant going fast or slow and it's not too showy (very 2012).

and yes Loopy, the lights are best of any car I've driven.

Oh, and did I mention the noise.........

Awesome cars - I love them. The tints are overkill on that one I think. love the gun metal colour. Why the change so soon?

Local PHer Aeroman, who I think you know, brought one on the Paris Tunnel Run. Very capable car across country, but the stock exhaust is quiet (relatively) I'm sure he'd be happy to chat to you about his experiences.
