Mx5 roof and frame west sussex

Hi everyone, the title pretty much sums it up really. I've got a 96 mk1 and this morning in the rain noticed that the roof is letting in a bit of water. I was wondering if anyone knew any company's around the Chichester Portsmouth sort of area that supply and fit new roofs. I'm using this car as a daily so I want a roof that's quite tough but affordable. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

I put a wanted ad on MX5Nutz and got a 1 year old roof and frame that looked brand new for £120, and fitted it myself in half a day (due to having to repair a rain rail). You can pick up similar from eBay for less money. I couldn't be bothered to fit a new roof over my frame and the seals were all shot anyway, but I did raise about £90 by selling the old plastic window and catches from it.

If you want someone to do it all for you, aforementioned MX5parts and also Autolink are very good.

hi, just wondering if you can help as i have just purchased a roof and frame for my mx5 and have no idea how to fit it but see you have done this. I have looked online but to no avail and would appreciate any help or advice to get started on this

They can sell you a hood, and they can put you in touch with a guy whose is local (to them) who does a good job of fitting them.
