TRANSPORT TO SCHOOL PROM NEEDED BOURNEMOUTH AREA
Discussion
I live in fordingbridge and am trying to find someone with a red or yellow ferrari or lamborghini who would drive my 16 year old son to his school prom next friday 2nd july at 7.00 pm either of these would be his dream car and would make his day. Failing this does anyone have an unusual or eye catching car which would create a stir when he arrives. Can either agree a cash fee or perhaps i could make you a suit or something for half price (i'm a tailor). Bill King
Some one will pop up and help.
I asked Bob the Planner last year to take my daughter to her prom, (our Chimaera just wasn't good enough!)he has a beautiful Tuscan, all it cost me was a meal.
He's up north now though which is a shame. It even made the local paper!
Good luck with your hunt.

What the hell are these school proms?
I wasnt at school that long ago and had never heard of them
is this something we have inherited from the USA?
Afraid so mate.
When we were at school it was called a 'Ball', now though if us old buggers say that we just get that teenager kind of stare made at us. Sometimes it's easier to go with the flow

You have a picture in your kitchen on the wall with you stood next to and MGF just before you left for yours...
Mike
yeah thats right mate - I drove my MGF to a school prom.
some of us pass our GCSEs on the first attempt, not after 4 years of taking them again....
you'll learn soon that you wear a dinner suit to other events, not just the school prom

Sorry I am booked for my daughters Prom this thursday!
Prom = Mother spending a fortune on a dress (daughter would not normally be seen dead in!) Many many trips to the shops (which I hate doing) followed by many screaming rows, usually in public places, followed by equal quanitities of money on shoes/handbag/underwear/stockings
Can't you tell I have had enough?
to be followed by 'please would you take me in the Griff?' (Griff fit to be seen in, but the driver ie mother not to speak or make any appearance - just too degrading)
I have told her that if she ever wants to get married call me the day before and I will appear as if by magic - I am not going through this again!!

I'm sorted now. Thanks to everyone for their comments and advice. Special thanks to C5RagTop. I looked at your car on your profile WOW! If I had been unable to find a Ferrari your car would have been an exellent alternative. Thanks again. Bill.
