Hi

I'm going to be doing a few mods to my car, before they are done I would like to get the car put on a rolling road to measure output before and then after the mods are completed. Can anyone recommend a rolling road in or around the Weston Super Mare area? I've heard there is one in Puxton, does anyone have any experience of this one?

Cheers

Not local but as i'm north of WSM Tipton garage is well worth going to

http://www.tiptongarage.com/

have had my kit car on there a few times after mods. the guy knows his stuff. very reasonable priced

I know of many who have used tipton over the years and everyone speaks very highly of them

I would go to TSR personally. ESPECIALLY if you would like an honest before & after. No point using different roads for before & afters smile

TSR - never again!

They didn't even bother to strap my Chimaera down!

I thought he was settling the car onto the rollers before strapping down, but no he just went for it.

I couldn't believe it!

I too have heard similar stories about TSR not strapping down cars. Have not used them personally, as i was put off. There is a small garage i think in Ditcheat near Shepton Mallett that comes highly recommended.

Worth a look or a phone call.

Interpro at Thornbury too far? We went there a few years ago with a bunch of TVRs. Seemed pretty good and knew their stuff.

Interpro for just RR .. i wouldnt like them working on my car though..

its a shame its not in use anymore but i believe there's a rolling road in the Ford garage in weston.. from when Performance+Engineering used to be there many years ago before they went bust (sister company to Power+Engineering, Uxbridge)

Ive avoided TSR (or Tim Styles Racing as they used to be called?) for years .. seems things havent changed!

I'm not sure it matters too much which rolling road you use as long as you stick to the same one if you are trying to measure an improvement.
I've used both interpro and tsr
tsr's building design means you can watch whats going on whitch I like
interpro work is done in a closed workshop (not a bad thing just building design)
interestingly there was over 100rwhp difference between the 2 rolling roads on following weekends
for tuning purposes thats not relevant all you are looking for is improvement.
