Scalexric & Games Evening - 16th March

Guys,

The company I work for are having a Scalextric and games evening at our offices in Filton on Wednesday 16th March from around 6:30 onwards to raise a few pennies for charity. As there is a car theme for the evening I have been asked to find out if any of you guys would also be interested in coming along with your cars.

Games will be…
PS3 – Star in a reasonably priced car (TG game)
Wii Games
Table football
Scalextric racing is being done in teams – if we can get enough PHers together it would be good to team of PHers against the weird engineers/mad scientists that I work with!

There will also be food and drinks will also be available.

If you’re interested in coming along, please let me know and I’ll send you the full details. Due to the location of our offices, I do need to know names in advance so that I can register your names/cars with security so that you can get onto our site.

Sandy, can you put me down as a "maybe" I won't know whether I can make it until Wednesday morning, I have to be quite fluid with work! If I'm in the office, I'll be there, as my office is about 100 yds from yours, it would be shameful not to!!

If you are coming along to take part in the Scalextric, can you please let me know by 9am tomorrow morning at the very latest as I need to provide a list to the company who are running the Scalextric.

If you are still planning to come along but not take part in the racing thats fine, I just need your names before 6pm tomorrow.

I'll definately book 1 team for the scalextric, teams are maximum 4 people so Maffy and Sam you will be racing, I'll hold fire on the 2nd team until I have a few more replies.

Yep, cracking evening and lovely burgers... Obviously I would have performed better in the Scalextric if the car had been properly set up

Was a great evening, good to see a few faces again! Especially as I now have a new mug...

Maff, your exit won't cause me any trouble - it was in front of Sandy's building! I'm sure it'll all be fine though, and was fun to see/hear!

Thank you guys for coming along...was a good giggle. I'll get the full listing of the final scores etc and post them up tomorrow. But at least someone from PH got a 1st place, even if it wasn't in the Scalextric
