Side to Side: The Sunset to Sunrise Challenge (2011)

Hi All,

I’m sure some of you would have already read about my “Sunset/Sunrise – Side to Side Challenge”, but just in case it’s passed you by:

Anyway, being based in South Somerset, I just thought I’d post it up here and gingerly ask the hypothetical question of who’d be up for doing a re-run of it, this year?
I’m not after any definite commitment, it’s only February after all, but I just wanted to get an idea of who’d be potentially interested in joining me and a few friends for a night of cross country fun and general amusement on or around the 21st of June.

I got in touch with the TG team after we had done to see if they'd be interested in having a stab at it. After countless emails and phone calls, I convinced them to dispatch Clarkson and an XJ to carry out the mission. It took a lot of work, but we got there in the end!

Might be an idea to post up your vehicle of choice for this, i'd guess everyone stopping for fuel at the same time would be a good idea:

GTO Scott - GTO Twin Turbo, probably 250-275 miles before a refill is needed.

Went through Europe last summer and on a fast motorway drive 350 was easy to attain.
