I have lost access to my friends trailer (sold it).. Is there anyone around Swindon/Bath/Corsham that would rent it out? Its just for trackdays.

I would look at getting one, but I currently have no where to put one

Its not for now.. but this year going forward..

Thanks

What are you towing?

I'm thinking about selling my trailer which is small enough to fit in a single garage with a small car on it. By small car, I mean Caterham or other small kit.

Gotone of them too, doesn't fit on the trailer, only my kit car does. Hence thinking of selling and getting a bigger one!!

Sorry I can't help but would be interested to see what you've got and modifications you've made, are planning to your BMW, what base car have you started with?

Here you go. Started with 325 for £500.

LINKY

I would change the water pump, and thermostat before tracking it, ours broke on the first day (plastic brittle impeller) and was cheapo to fix and was probably a good idea to replace all the fluids too. I should have done this first in hindsight.

Where abouts are you? Im currently in corsham at the moment.. #

Also for any advice or work (if you need it) speak to James at Redish motorsport, he is excellent.

Looks good, I've got a 325 E36 Coupe, stripped with seats and harnesses, similar (but much cheaper) suspension to yours from Jamex and grooved discs all round with Yellow Stuff pads. Done 3 track days so far so good! More stripping this summer when I've done the Phoenix which is a priority.

Have you had clearance issues with your wheels against the new springs at the front?

S1mon.

I try to do as many as I can, some in the BMW, some in the Phoenix and some I'll take both.

For a "local" day at a very good price, Llandow is a regular for me to take novices, I really like Brands Hatch for both cars and Bedford aerodrome is quite good for the BMW, again ideally suited to novices, lots of run-off but equally as good for all levels. Nice long straight and a big stop or two.
