Police - M4 Chippenham This Morning

Has anyone been on the M4 this morning?

Very unusual sight and i'm not sure if it was just a training excersise or a proper search.

There were 3 large police vans, 2 cars and a box trailer at 2 different points just east of the Chippenham Junction. They were searching through the shrubs and undergrowth on the embankment on the east bound carriageway.

Came back at 12 and they were still there, although it looked to be a reduced presence.

I did wonder if it was that they were looking there for the body of the chap that went missing from Chippenham last year.

We saw this on our way to Bristol at c10am. Nobody doing any searching that I saw. In fact I'm not sure I even saw anyone out of a vehicle.

Was about 10.45 and there an awful lot of people on the bridge with camera tripods too.

Ah not a bad guess then, the police appeared to be quite convinced his body was somewhere on the farm just beyond them embankment, so I put 2 and 2 together
