An open plea to the faithful members of the SW!!
Discussion
Me and the missus are looking to get married in Oct. And we're trying to do it on a budget without it being cheap and tacky! So rather then paying a fortune to be driven round in the back of a 'P' reg Jag from the ceremony to the reception, I had the brilliant idea of asking the friendly and helpful PH'ers of the south west if anyone would be willing to pick us up in whatever amazing car you have for petrol money, a hog roast and as many IOU Beer tokens you can imagine!!
Obviously the date is not for a while yet but was wondering if anyone fancied the job and earning a bit of pocket money?

Apologies, forgot to mention it will be in the Cheltenham/Glos area. We're looking at the 8th Oct at the moment but don't have it booked yet. was just putting a feeler out there to see what the response would be. Many thanks to everyone!
Unfortunetly the car has to have 4 doors as the missus doesn't fancy squeezing into tiny backseats through the main door in her wedding dress. Otherwise, i'd have jumped at the chance of a Corvette!!
bramley - Sorry, we've got a friend doing our photography for us at a mates rates!
Mr Fort - What have you got?

Whats wrong with 2 doors Yea i know, its ok if the driver is the groom but any excuse to show a pic that most of you have prob seen a hundred times.
Enjoy your day & take 5 mins out to sit together & remember the moment as its over so fast, good luck!
My M5 has already done my wedding, just about to do my mothers 25th wedding anniversary, so it's a well used wedding car...
Happy to help out
A more appropriate wedding car out there? I think ; it's the right colour - blue (something blue), subtle yet you know it's a proper car (especially coming from the Monaro), and it's a proper sized car in the back, capable of coping with any wedding dresses out there. Plus, you won't have the in laws tut tutting when you turn up
Oh, and it'll get you there pretty quickly with 418bhp and 400lb/ft.

Shame, I've only got 2 seats otherwise I might've been able to help out.Maybe you could get a convoy of PH's to transport the whole wedding party even if those of us with 2 seats can only carry 1 person
