Any PHers in the vicinity?

Will be moving there in March.

...and I need to find a garage to store a motor.

Not a million miles away (well, 18 to be precise). Nice part of the world. I've struggled to find any car storage locally though frown

I used to live in Nailsworth (in Bath now 25 miles South).

I don't know of a garage for storage, but I do know a fantastic chap (in the center of Nailsworth) for independant servicing - he is a retired mechanic / engineer does restoration work for a lot of classic cars, but used to do all the work for me on my TVR - I haven't got his details to hand, but if you need them give me a shout and I'll find them.

Thanks. I'll bear that in mind if/when I lay my hands on something more classic again.

Might be persuaded smile

Thanks. Storage is an option, but I'd like to find somewhere a bit more local if possible.

I work in Nailsworth, along the Avening Road and I live in Stroud.

Will be good to have you here! Get yourself to the Weighbridge for a 2 in 1 pie. http://www.2in1pub.co.uk/

If I had enough room in my warehouse you could have stored the car there!

My parents live just outside Nailsworth and have a large barn that we keep cars in. It is fully heated and kept at a constant temperature and has been lined and insulated so no chance of any dirt or grime getting on the car.

Lovely area and am thinking of moving down there shortly having just finished a little project in Uley.

Might be worth trying Stroud District Council, I have previously rented one in Nailsworth from them for a surplus car. Only hitch was the absence of power....

I'm sure you will enjoy driving up the 'w' from Nailsworth to the common.... Just watch out for the livestock!

And back down Bear Hill, across the A46, up through Woodchester onto Selsey common and then left towards Uley. Left to Nympsfield and then back into Nailsworth. Nice hoon to fill a few idle minutes!

Yep, the property has planning permission for a garage, but I need somewhere to store the porker in the meantime.

Of course, will speak to the old man and see if we can shift some stuff around to make room as he has quite a few other cars in their that belong to mates and are in various states of rebuild etc.
