Anyone fancy this? We did something similar earlier in the year, food was good and it was a decent venue for a park up and talk cars. Meeting points probably M4 J18 and the car park at the Cross Hands at Old Sodbury perhaps, followed by a run up to Kemble via Calcot and Tetbury.

Could only do the afternoon of the 31st. Wouldn't be likely to be in the 7 though as you can almost see the salt corroding the car. Would give me the chance to put some more miles on my new Polo GTI though.

Subject to weather. I need some rain to wash away the salt!

fyi chaps...AV8 has now been sold and is now owned by the owners of Relish (local catering for events Co). The menu is different but it certainly doesn't have appeared to have taken a backward step from before

Yeah I noticed this - I've dropped them an email to confirm when they are open over Xmas period.

The website say's they are closed? tried to call them but they don't answer so I have also sent them a mail.

If this falls through any other suggestions? There is a place over South Cerney, I think it's called the outdoor centre
with a cafe looking over the lake and it has a large car park.

This site says they are closed: http://www.av8kembleairfield.co.uk/

However this one, which is linked from the main airfield site - http://www.av8-cotswoldairport.co.uk/Home.html - says it is open. I will try calling them.
