Have finally just managed to get home. I had to go into Bristol and back, which would normally take me just over 2 hours and ended up being 3 3/4 hours. From the Bath junction and up to clifton was a just stop start and at one point gridlock outside the BRI and University.

When I left the traffic going back into Bristol on the M32 was at a crawl and that was just before 7.

I don't know how you guys in the city put up with it.

I got away at about 4 but the queues coming down the M32 weren't any worse than usual for a Friday. Its high time the M4 / M32 junction was rebuilt to remove the need for traffic lights.

My 1 mile commute home usually takes me about 4 minutes, but this evening I met a moped up the hill to my home and it ended up being 4 mins 30. Not happy! biggrin

I knew there was some blessing being down in the sticks! My commute rarely gets exciting....

The traffic lights were out on the Bath bridge-Temple Meads nexus. Not surprised if that fouled things up...
