Right. Let's nail down a date ASAP and worry about exactly where later. It'll be Bristol proper, not the 'burbs.
As it'll be more beer than curry orientated I think the consensus is a Friday night.
How about 10 December?

As its Christmas how about going somewhere upmarket compared to the average curry house? I've been to the Indian equivient of fine dining in other cites and the food has been really quite exceptional.

Ive been there and its OK, nothing speacial just promotes itself well.

10th OK for me too I think, however I reserve the right to not know what my wife has planned etc etc

I think I should be alright for the 10th. Given that I have Christmas parties on the 2 days before I may be a shadow of my former self though hehe

I was told there's a very good ruby to be had at the Triangle, near to where the Cattlemans was... don't have the name though. Anyone know it?

ETA: Just googled it and if it's Taste of India it doesn't seem to be well reviewed... surprised as the person who recommended it is usually reliable. scratchchin
